Craving some barbecue? Try some of our Carolina Pork Barbecue during the summer days, or anytime of the year! Check out our Ghost Pepper BBQ Sauce and Spicy Ketchup (Habanero Ketchup and Ghost Ketchup) that you can use to make this barbecue, or other barbecue dishes.
Pepper Joe's
4-6 lbs Picnic (I use Pork butt or sholder)
1 can tomatoes
1/2 cup vinegar
1/3 bottle Worcestershire sauce
1 TBSP salt
1 TBSP sugar
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp crushed red pepper (Chileheads, feel free to substitute any and all types of peppers here!)
Cook a minimum of 6 hours and serve on hamburger buns with cole slaw.
This recipe was created from a local guy in Southeastern Virginia. We like to add some of Pepper Joe's hot sauces right in the mix or on the sandwich, but you can use your homemade hot sauce for this!
