Description:
Description:
Chile de Arbol peppers are a small cayenne-looking variety hailing from Mexico. Their name means "tree chili" in Spanish because of its long wooden stem and includes several nicknames such as bird's beak chilies or rat's tail chiles.
The Chile de Arbol pepper plant grows over 4 ft. tall and is highly productive, growing bounties of these 2-4" long peppers. It matures from green to bright red and retains its color after drying.
This small, slender, curved, bright red pepper is a popular pepper to use in many cuisines! The Chile De Arbol Pepper is typically dried and produces the best flavor when you dry them. Delivering a quick heat punch, this pepper has fruity, smoky, and nutty tones, which makes it a great addition to add to salsas, sauces, soups, and stews. Try this in your next meal for delicious flavors!
