Also known as Chili Relleno, Chile Rellenos peppers are used traditionally in the dish called Chile Rellenos. These peppers take about 80 days to reach full maturity and the Chile Relleno plant grows to about 30-36" tall. This is a prolific pepper plant that will produce good yields of these beauties. The Chile Rellenos pepper grows to 5-6" long and is generally a thick-walled pepper with medium flesh which are great for stuffing! Chile Relleno peppers have a bit of a kick, but nothing to fret about as you won’t notice the heat at all. This is a perfect pepper for the classic Chile Relleno casserole or any Mexican dish, and also great for stuffing, roasting, frying, stir-fry, and canning.
They will ripen from yellow, green, to then red, but they are great to eat fresh during their green and red stages. Don’t miss out on this popular pepper!
