Yellow Biquinho Pepper Plants originated in Brazil and have gained huge popularity due to their low heat, superb flavor, and quick heavy yields. In Portuguese "Biquinho" translates to "little beak" and one look at a Biquinho pepper will tell you how that happened. These small peppers are commonly pickled and even used as garnishes in drinks like martinis. Once pickled, they are commonly referred to as "Sweety Drops". Yellow Biquinho peppers have a tropical citrus flavor similar to a habanero but with far less burn. Put this bright Brazilian beauty in your garden this year and enjoy loads of delicious bite-size peppers!

WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

Growing nicely!

Ordered 12 seedlings, 2 are BIQUINHO. One or two seem to have a pest chomping on the leaves and while no fruit yet, I see little flowers forming this week. 11 out of 12 plants survived shipping/transplant. #12 must have gotten too dinged up in transit.

really nice pepper plants

No problem with the pepper plants. The seeds, however have a nearly zero germination rate.

The plants seems a little off upon arrival, but have been growing well

They arrived slightly yellow but otherwise healthy. They've done well in 1 gallon pots outside, but no fruit or flower yet.

Non of the plants ordered survived.
