Want to grow one of the rarer, exotic-looking pepper varieties out there? Created by an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania, this unique pepper looks like someone torn the tongue right out of the Devil’s mouth! The Red Devil’s Tongue pepper plant is very easy to grow, given ample time, and will grow to about 2 feet tall with tongue-shaped peppers covering the plant. You will no doubt impress your neighbors with the Devil’s Tongue Red plant’s looks.
The Red Devil’s Tongue is an extremely hot habanero variety and close kin to the ever-popular Fatalii Pepper. This pepper is spicy and has a light habanero flavor which makes it tasty. It’s sweeter than its cousin, the Fatalii, and hotter as well. Pods ripen from green to a fiery red and grow to 4 inches long with smooth skin. These peppers are great for hot sauces, powder, salsas, and more!

WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

I love these plants. They are growing and looking beautiful. I can’t wait for the peppers to begin growing .
Followed your directions for planting seedlings.. Doing well in one Gallon containers prior to transplanting to Garden which I hope to do soon.
This place is excellent! An amazing selection of plants. I had an issue with one of my plants and they replaced it with a gorgeous, healthy plant without any fuss or argument.
