Maturing to a translucent white to pale yellow colored bell pepper, the White Bell Pepper is a rare breed compared to the bright yellow, green, and red bell peppers. The White Bell typically grows to two to five inches and provides a crisp texture and sweet flavor. If the white sweet pepper is left on the plant, the white pepper may turn to green, orange, or red with full maturity. These peppers perform well when grown outdoors and are favored by home gardeners and local farms for their ease of growth, unusual coloring, and sweet flavor. They can be grown as an annual or perennial, and are great to eat fresh and cooked such as grilling, roasting, sautéing, and baking
