Description:

The Guajillo is one of the most popular chiles grown in Mexico, providing a raisin-like wrinkled texture.  The Guajillo chili has sweet, fruity tones, and then it hits you with a sharp, savory heat.  These peppers grow to 3-6 inches long and just over an inch wide, with the plant growing about 2 feet tall.  The dried Guajillo chiles have a unique process as they are dried first as whole pods, then you crush them to a powder to make a seasoning paste.  This pepper can be used to create mole sauces, salsas, sauces, and more!

I’m looking forward to what comes from these seeds. First time pepper grower. Bought a 12 mini potted pepper starter knowing this came with 10 seeds. Surprised and delighted to find a few extra.

Anticipation

I love jalapeños and am really looking forward to growing the Guajillo pepper seeds! I read online that they are roughly at the same level on the Scovil scale. Curious about the flavor. Stay tuned - more to come. 😁
