100% germination on these little guys with humidity dome, heat mat (75F) and light. They're like little shrubs right now and STACKED. Very excited to see how they will produce. They took a very hot minute to sprout but definitely worth it so far.
I got about an 85% germination rate out of the seeds I ordered. I loved the pouch of Mystery Seeds to, some of the strongest ones came from that so I'm intrigued to see what they turn out to be
Seeds never sprouted out of these and my dynamite box waited 8 weeks for them to sprout never showed, gonna try again
Hello, hot peppers can be tricky to germinate. Here is the process we follow and see 95% success rate across the board. Keep in mind they can take up to 6 weeks to germinate. Let us know what other questions you may have, we are happy to help!
I ordered the habanero, hot and happy mix and and a 3rd pack. Of every seed I received only 5 germinated. May be user error but I thought it worth mentioning. Going to order some more once I have my greenhouse up and running to see if it was just the circumstances at the time. Order came with a free pack of seeds and in a timely fashion. Prices are reasonable and I assume had I mentioned this to their customer service team they would have made it right. But since I can't say it's their fault I don't want them to be on the hook for what could be my error. As for the 5 that grew, all are doing better than local farm stand starts. Can't wait to see the harvests I get from them.
I soaked the seeds overnight in warm, clean water. Lightly covered seeds in jiffy pod trays and jiffy peat seed starting medium. I used heat mats under the trays, thermostatically heating to 85 degrees F. Kept the soil moist and covered for 6 weeks and not a single seed germinated.
