This pepper comes from Trinidad and is also known as the Chocolate 7 Pot because it matures to a dark chocolate brown color. The texture of the pepper is bumpy with dimples. The flavoring is of a fruity flavor with a nutty finish. The 7 Pot Brown is one of the hottest 7 Pots (along with the Red relative) and is known to have the most pungent scent. The 7 Pot varieties are named for the ability to spice up 7 pots of stew with one pod.
