Description:
Autumn Bell Sweet Peppers are gigantic fruits weighing up to 10-14 ounces! Their fantastic taste pairs well with many different foods.
These pepper plants can grow up to 3 ft. tall like most bell pepper plants. They are very productive and produce many of these 4" long smooth pods. Autumn Bells mature fast, as they ripen to a fire engine red in about 65 days, which makes them great for those living in cooler climates who want some peppers harvested early.
This large bell pepper variety has an incredibly sweet flavor that tastes great in salads, with a dip, or for stuffing. You can also roast these peppers, peel off the charred skin, and add olive oil and garlic, and they're so delicious!

I have been ordering seed from Pepper Joe’s for years. I keep coming back because I can get great germination and great plants.
Ripening to a deep red, mine were slightly elongated. They only had two lobes which made deseeding a breeze- although this may possibly be only a fluke of the individual plant as I only tried the one.
Regardless I will grow triple next season as they were beautifully sweet and had very thick walls.

I live in Zone 9 and started these indoors in December, set them out in March. They’ve done really well through the end of June without any disease and looks like they will survive the hot summer here for another harvest in fall. I will definitely grow these again.
I've grown these the past couple years in NJ, they don't get any disease and produce more bell peppers than any other type I have tried. Works great in pots
But two weeks and no germination.....still waiting just in case. One never knows.
