Cheiro Roxa Pepper Seeds

Size

The Cheiro Roxa pepper is a relative of the habanero that has just slightly less heat, with a unique fresh sweet flavor. Great to use as an alternative to the habanero, if you are looking for just as much flavor, a unique color, with a little less heat. The peppers grow from dark purple to a lighter purple, almost pink color. The shape is a squished shape at about 1 inch in length. The plants are very productive and grow to about 3 ft tall.

Beautiful and Tasty

Without a doubt, the most beautiful plant in my pepper garden last year. The leaves are ridiculoisly gorgeous purple and green. The fruit goes from dark purple to bubblegum pink. Good heat with a red-wine grape tannins thing going on. Aromatic. Only wish they were meatier.

Only one germination out of 12 seeds

Not sure if I got a bunk batch, but we got 12 seeds in our order and only one germinated. We are hoping for that one to hang on and give us something this year. Really disappointed, I was looking forward to this variety.
