Chile De Arbol Pepper Plant Seedlings

Coming from Mexico, the Chile de Arbol pepper plant will grow to be over 5 ft. tall and are highly productive, growing many of these curved, slender, small, bright red pepper pods - similarly looking to Cayenne peppers! These peppers have many nicknames - bird's beak, rat's tail chile - but the name is actually Spanish for "tree chili," given to the Chile de Arbol because of its wooden stem. Watch these pods mature from green to bright red with smooth skin and a crunchy texture. Delivering a quick heat punch, this medium hot pepper has fruity, smoky, and nutty tones, which makes it a great addition to add to salsas, sauces, soups, and stews.
