Don’t let the name scare you…

The Yellow Moruga Satan pepper is a yellow variant of the Moruga Satan Strain Red with widely hot, lighting heat that is wonderful to use for drying, hot sauces, salsa, and pepper flakes or seasoning. You may notice more citrusy, fruity tones with grapefruit-type flavors, but right away – you’ll be paired with a searing heat that will burn and linger on your mouth for a couple hours. The pepper variety will grow well in most climates seasonally and will stand out beautifully in your garden when it is in full bloom.

It will grow from seed to harvest in about 160 days, maturing from green to a gorgeous bright yellow color. With a heat level of 1,000,000 – 1,800,000 just like our red variety, this is a super HOT pepper not to mess with!

Terrible germination!!!

I started these seeds out just like all my other super hot varieties, but got 0% germination! Only one seed actually sprouted, but then stopped growing before the cotyledon differentiated into leaves! What gives?!

Hello, hot peppers can be tricky to germinate. Here is the process we follow and see 95% success rate across the board. Keep in mind they can take up to 6 weeks to germinate. Let us know what other questions you may have, we are happy to help!
