Developed by the New Mexico State University Chili Pepper Institute, the Orange Jalapeno was the result of trying to create a tasty pepper loaded with nutrients. The pepper seedlings will sprout up to 3 ft. tall plants, producing plenty of these 3” long jalapenos with smooth skin, slender shape, and vibrant orange hue. This NuMex variety will be the new colorful addition to your meals, bolstering fruity and citrusy flavors. Orange Jalapenos are much sweeter than other jalapeno peppers, but we’ll let you be the judge on that!
