Also known as the 7 Pot Primo pepper, the Primo was developed by Troy Primeaux (AKA Primo) down in the Cajun country of New Orleans. The folks down there in Louisiana know good food and they especially know how to make hot and spicy food! Troy, a member of a local band called the "Santeria" took a hiatus from touring and decided to dive into his second love...hot peppers. The band had a local cult status and now the Primo has its own broader cult status. This is one devilishly hot pepper that has a cool history and a seriously mean bite.
