This Week's Focus in the Greenhouse
This week, the team's energy went toward two things: finishing the shipment of plants that were held up in our fulfillment system, and keeping pace with the steady stream of current orders coming in.
It has been a big week. On Tuesday, we made the decision to pause live plant sales to ensure we have enough stock to fulfill every remaining order. If inventory remains after we've shipped everything out, we'll bring them back, so stay tuned for a future update!
All in all, it has been a great season, and we are incredibly grateful for the support.
Live Pepper Plants: Production Update
Current Growth Stage
Not much has changed on the growth stage front this week, plants throughout the greenhouse continue to span various stages, though the majority are in the finishing stage and ready to head to their new homes. The most exciting update? There is a lot more space in the greenhouse as shipments continue to go out the door!

Observations & Challenges
We are still working through some nuances with our fulfillment system, but we have put checks in place to make sure the right orders are shipping to the right customers. We are keeping a very close eye on things and taking action immediately when adjustments are needed.
Seed Stock Production
This week we prepped our grower plants for our partner growers! Some plants were hand delivered after getting them ready, and others were carefully packaged and shipped out.
One thing worth noting: our seed stock grower plants are grown in a soilless medium rather than rockwool, which makes shipping them a bit of an adventure. A lot of care goes into labeling and packaging to make sure they arrive safely and ready to thrive.
These plants will grow, produce fruit, and then our growers will deseed them supplying us with seeds for future seasons. We are excited about some new varieties that may be coming later this season if the grows are successful, so stay tuned for those announcements!

Looking Ahead
Next week the focus shifts to wrapping up seed stock grower plant deliveries, cleaning and reorganizing the greenhouse now that we have more breathing room, and honestly getting back to a more normal pace. The whole team is looking forward to returning to their regular rhythms after one of the most intense stretches of the season.
Pre-order and live plant season is a wild ride every year, but we love being able to get live plants into the hands of fellow pepper junkies. Worth every bit of it.
