There are two options for making this sauce. You can either have a chunky sauce or have a smooth sauce. For this recipe, we chose the chunky variation of this sauce which skips the cooking steps. I will include both variations below! (If you plan on skipping the cooking process, skip to step 2!)

You will want to store this sauce in the fridge to maintain optimal freshness. We brought this sauce to a family gathering and man was it a hit! Don't forget you are using the hottest peppers in the world... KEEP AWAY FROM SMALL CHILDREN! Let us know how your sauce turned out in the comment section below!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 whole Carolina Reaper Peppers (Any Red Hot Peppers will do)
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 juiced oranges
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 2 chopped scallions
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup vinegar

Directions

  1. If you plan on cooking your sauce to make it smooth, bring your saucepan to low heat. Once that is done, first add your vinegar, then toss in all your ingredients in and let the ingredients simmer on the stovetop for 15-20 minutes.
  2. If you prefer not to cook, follow this step. Throw or pour ingredients into a blender/food processor and blend to your desired thickness.
  3. Lastly, pour your new favorite sauce into a container/bottle and ENJOY!
