I've spent two seasons wondering why my Purple UFOS never get big or turn red. I just figured out that I was sent a Cheiro Roxa, evidently by mistake. Anyway, it's a great plant and all. I have now planted some of its seeds, and each plant looks different!

I received the plants in excellent condition; no wilting or transport damage and after two months are flourishing in their final destination.

What a great looking pepper - the plant has been growing well and producing a lot of these cool looking purple peppers. The flavor and heat are mild - comparable to poblano peppers.

Delivery was slower than expected, but the pepper plants are decently priced and came well packaged!
They are absolutely adorable. I will be ordering from them again!

The plant arrived fine but after 1 week of being in soil and they died! The 2 other plants I purchased, are however thriving!

They did not arrive in good condition. The roots were dry and brown and the leaves were yellowing and falling off.

First time I ordered from Pepper Joe's, usually buy from Chiliplants. The plants were so tiny, not what I expected at all. Normally I receive plants that are at least 8 inches high. I wasted so much time hardening them off and half of them died.

Both plants died within two weeks of receiving them. I planted them along with the two other plants I received. The other ones are still fine (though growing slowly) and healthy. Not sure why the Purple UFO's died so fast. One died after a few days, and the other lasted almost two weeks but slowly drooped and died.

All four plants ordered died within two weeks. Followed video instructions with no success. Only will order seeds and start my own those are thriving

Plants arrived alive! One seems to be growing much faster than the other. But both are alive and well. Love the purple color on the stems and flowers! Just awesome to look at. Can’t wait to try a UFO pepper!!

Unfortunately they died. I don't think they liked MI. weather.

Have these pepper and others that were purchased through pepper joes. Neither one of them have grown an inch. They are in a raised bed along with other peppers I started from seed. For some reason these didn’t grow.

The plants arrived in perfect condition. They have had good growth and have been healthy and a whole lot of buds are showing already.

Took a while to get going but has finally started to grow normally. I’m under the impression that the shipping of some starter plants greatly stunts them. Definitely growing from seed in the future

The UFO plants are still growing but they are really beautiful plants. And honestly i had to trouble at all getting them in the ground or with delivery! Amazing company needless to say! Plants came in the mail looking perfect and are still growing.

Got the peppers I ordered but plants were very small and one unfortunately died not long after receiving.

As always, my seedlings arrived on time and were very healthy. They are growing very well and already have buds developing. I really look forward to a productive season!

So I ordered like 10 different seeds and they are now only like growing their 2nd set of leaves..so like 3in tall...im not sure how to get the any bigger its been 2 months

Only three of my plants survived

With the 20 plants ordered, only 1 has not 'awaken', the other 19 are above the rims of their pots, and producing many new peppers. I am an organic grower and rely on the plants for family, friends, neighbors and several Doctors. Your plants hopefully, will provide many a happy smile....

Well I planted 4 out of the 6 plants I received in 1 bed and the other 2 in another. Within 7 days of planting, something took all 4 down to the dirt only leaving a tiny nub. In the other bed the remaining 2 are still going. One of those is the purple ufo, so we’ll see. The only thing is this bed does not get a lot of sun but at least it’s still alive.
