Plantas de pimienta shishito

Since sishito peppers seem to have caught on with celebrity chefs, I had chosen to try them and bought from Pepper Joe's as live plants last year. I am a patio gardener and had a bumper crop last year. The plants I bought this year were beautiful and hearty upon arrival. I look forward to this year's crop with just 4 plants!

They died! 😩no idea why

Arrived in great healthy and are flourishing

Nice and healthy. The trip was far shipping wise but it bounced back very quickly.

They never grew into anything.

Peppers were healthy and nicely packaged. They were small and needed to be hardened off, but doing great with peppers starting. I have a bs in horticulture and can be picky with plants, will order again next year! Greats plants and packaging!

In spite of what seems above average rainfall the plants are doing well. So far 4 pods on each plant. Hopefully, dry weather will arrive.

It has been so hot here in Louisiana. None of the peppers I bought have done anything except die.

Peppers arrived in excellent condition and continue to grow after transplanting.

Plants died after transplanting in soil. Probably didn't give enough acclimation time but thought they would fare better than this.

Kept them planted inside to harden for 3 weeks this time, still died. They don't seem to grow, roots can't expand.

Arrived wilted from the heat… never really thrived!

All I can respond to is how healthy the plants were when they arrived and they were in great condition. After transplanting the rats ate them.

Bought 2 Shisitos and they were very spindley- Tall stems - not very full -not what was expected. I ordered 2 more and it looks as if they were cropped to grow fuller- No response when I reached out to customer service hoping for a discount on the 2nd purchase

Unfortunately, the 2 seedlings I purchased from you did not grow or produce any peppers. I also purchased 1 shishito from a local store. The 1 locally purchased plant grew and produced peppers. The 2 from you grew straight up, with no offshoots or add’l growth. I have a picture to share, but not sure how to get it to you.

These plants showed up rather weak and haven't grown very much. I am an avid gardener and have grown these plants before, these ones in particular aren't performing. Big bummer this year.

Healthy shishito plants that produce many peppers!

Great plants, arrived healthy, but had a difficult transition to the garden and direct sun. Hand to shade them for a couple of weeks to revive. Now they are covered in tiny peppers - can’t wait to blister some.

They came somewhat healthy and are currently harding off little by little 3 of the 4 are doing OK but one of them seems to be struggling to bounce back and will probably be severely stunted for awhile

Our seedlings are making progress and we are excited to see when they flower. Winter is coming, so we are working hard to give them as much sun. Can't wait to get our first batch of peppers! This seedling has been the most progressive out of all seedlings that we have purchased with Pepper Joe's. I definitely recommend seeds to start off.

I ordered three types of peppers and though they all eventually glowered the Shishito were the healthiest and most robust still waiting in some peppers!

My initial order arrived with brown leaves on both plants and a broken main stem on one. After asking for my money back they proceeded to send me a new order. At least they weren't broken this time! Tiny seedlings which I had to put under my inside grow lights and then hardened on my sun porch. Seedlings were nowhere near ready for planting. They're in my garden now. One is dying off and the other has stagnated growth. I grow everything from seed but my wife wanted these specific peppers so I bought from here. Will not be doing that again. Btw, 22 years of gardening with a flourishing abundant garden, I'm no slouch.
