All peppers arrived in great shape and have been happily growing since. Took a while for the Pennsylvania weather to cooperate so they still haven't flowered but my hope is to keep them growing over the winter in my greenhouse once I add additional lighting and heat. Will def purchase from you again!

I got 16 plants and about half don’t have a name on the tag. They’re all growing great though

Healthy plant when received.

It really took off after planting it in Happy Frog soil. It's about 3 feet tall now and already hads one pepper growing with multiple flowers blooming. Can wait to eat one or 10 peppers from it.

Seedling arrived quickly in nice packaging, unharmed. Just put in the garden so we’ll see how it goes.

I ordered two chocolate habaneros four scorpions and four Carolina reapers one pepper from each dropped its leaves and died the smallest pepper plants I've received ever usually the pepper plants or four times the size hopefully my next order the plants will be bigger it's all good

Plants arrived very healthy and sturdy. Potted them in pots to get them ready for planting outside. They seem to be good and I fully expect them to turn out very good! 10/10 would recommend!

3/4ths of the plants are thriving but I took a shot and risked ordering 16 lol

7 of the 8 plants that I received have all died and the one that is still alive is not doing well

Weak seedlings. 15% success rate. Poor customer service. DO BETTER!

Seeds looked healthy and very high quailty. On my part I could not get them to sprout but it was my first go round and im sure I did something out of order.

The plants came a little thirsty, but other wise looked healthy.
After planting and hardening off for a couple weeks. They have not gotten above 12" tall in 33 days.
Hope they do better this season. If not, hopefully next season will be better.

Arrived in good condition and are thriving in my backyard. Not flowers yet but I'm excited for when they do. The resources on the website have been invaluable.

Plant’s struggled initially … looking Great now…these were my first order from pepper joes…love your recipes for hot sauces… we have made Red Ghost sauce and Habenero sauce and they were crowd favorites

The plants arrived a bit damaged from shipping/being stuffed in the box but looked like they could be salvaged and were not too bad (a few broken branches). I spent the time to harden off the plants as directed and have taken good care of the plants yet they seem to be very stunted and have not grown much, if at all, since receiving them. They are in large pots but I suspect whatever the root is in is restricting their growth. It was very hard on all of the plants. I ordered 3 different types of plants and they are all the same way. The other peppers in my garden are growing great so it is not an environmental issue. I’m pretty disappointed as I was super excited for these plants. Live and learn, but I likely will not be ordering live plants again but maybe try from seed to avoid getting that hard rock root system that my plants arrived with.

This was hotter than the Carolina Reaper , maybe hotter than 1.5 million exactly like the description... pod I tasted was hottest pepper I ever had ever , MINDBLOWINGLY HOT 🔥

Order took three weeks to ship. Finally gets here……Plants are barely past seedling stage and half dead on arrival - with a notice that you only have 48 hours to request a refund. I’m far from an inexperienced grower, but not sure I can even salvage the garbage that was sent to me.
This is not the first issue I’ve had with PJ. Sure, most of their seeds have a 95%+ germination rate, but go ahead and see what thrives when you transplant them. That number drops exponentially. I’ve ordered gift sets that constantly have missing items, literally every order I’ve made has resulted in emails or phone calls to customer service.
Simply put - ordering live plants is the last straw. I’m done doing business with this company, and I’d advise anyone who reads this to look elsewhere before ordering anything from them.
