Pepper Joe's Pico de Gallo
Pico de Gallo
Pico de Gallo is a wonderful addition to any Mexican dish. Try with chips, tacos, fajitas, and many more things! Including burgers and chicken sandwiches! Pico is made best with fresh ingredients!
- 1 cup Yellow Onion (Diced)
- 1 whole Jalapeno (Seeded and finely choppped)
- 2 cups Roma Tomatoes (Seeded and chopped)
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro (Fresh (Very important to use fresh cilantro!))
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 whole Limes (Juiced)
Marinate diced onions and chopped jalapenos in the lime juice for 15-30 minutes.
Mix in tomatoes, cilantro, and salt. (Let sit for 15-30 minutes)
Finely chop one jalapeno pepper.
Add 1 cup of yellow onions. (Diced) Then squeeze 2 limes into the onion and jalapenos!
Mix ingredients together, then let sit for 30 minutes to soak in the lime juice.
Add 2 cups of Roma tomatoes!
Then add in cilantro and mix together and let sit for 15-30 minutes! Enjoy!
