The Georgia Flame Pepper originates from the Republic of Georgia, NOT the state of Georgia in the U.S. Its name does resemble the shape of a candle flame, where its shape is conical and slightly bumpy. The Georgia Flame pepper plant will grow to 3 feet tall and produces 8” long hot peppers with thick, smooth, crunchy skins. The pods will mature from green to red, and are extremely flavorful! This pepper has a good, fruity Annuum flavor, and has a combination of sweet and spice that makes them great for grilling and roasting or to eat fresh.
