Jimmy Nardello's Italian Pepper Seeds

Size

Jimmy Nardello Pepper is an Italian heirloom that impresses everyone who tries it. The rich sweet flavor is so great, that it has been placed in “The Ark of Taste” so as to preserve its amazing taste. These peppers have been growing in the US since 1887 when the Nardello family brought them over from Italy. Jimmy Nardello Peppers are the ultimate pepper for frying, drying, pickling – anything that involves them eventually hitting your taste buds! Plants grow low and wide, about 2 feet off the ground and 2 feet wide. Staking could be helpful for these. Expect large harvests of long, thin peppers that can reach 10 inches in length.

I planted 4 in a pod in a container with a lid, and heat pad and none germinated.

Not a one germinated. Other plants I have did.

Hello, hot peppers can be tricky to germinate. Here is the process we follow and see 95% success rate across the board. They are very particular to soil temp requiring 80-85*. I hope this helps! Let us know what other questions you may have!
