Description:

Also known as Hungary Pimento pepper or Pimento Cheese pepper, the Round of Hungary peppers look beautiful when they are growing, and are a lovely treat to have in your kitchen!

Round of Hungary pepper plants are prolific and will grow up to 3 ft. tall, producing peppers that mature early. Growing 2-3" long, the pods almost look like mini Cinderella pumpkins with smooth and shiny skin and a crisp texture. These peppers ripen from green to red quickly, so you better keep your eye on them when it comes time to harvest!

This pepper is a ribbed, flattened, globe-shaped pod that is sweet, meaty, and delicious. With thick flesh, Round of Hungary peppers are great for various culinary dishes such as stuffed peppers, hummus, dip, in salads, sandwiches, and gourmet dishes. They also are great to eat right off the plant if you’re impatient to try some!

To early to tell

Haven't planted the Round of Hungary pepper yet. Will do so in March inside. for spring planting. Round of Hungary has become one of our favorite peppers. Roasted and packed in olive oil with garlic is heaven.
