Simply Green Taco Sauce

Green Sauce (similar to Tabasco brand green pepper sauce)

Ingredients

• 1 Cup Cider vinegar
• 1 Cup Water
• 1 medium Onion
• 3 Jalapeno peppers
• 2 TB Salt
• 1 TB Garlic powder
• 1 tsp Corn Starch (Optional)
• 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Directions

1. Combine all in blender and blend ‘til onion and peppers are finely chopped. 
2. Pour into sauce pan and bring to a full boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer about 1/2 hour or ‘til slightly thickened.
4. Makes about 2 cups.

Note: For a sweeter version, similar to Taco Bell, reduce salt to 1 TB and add 1/2 cup sugar.
