Description:
A pepper that has a terrific sweet taste and thick flesh, the Baby Red is perfect to add flavor to your dish or to eat by itself! These are also great to experiment with flavor and see what food will be great to use with these peppers.
Even though they are small peppers, the Baby Red pepper plant produces high yields of these 1" long fruits, and you’d be surprised at how many peppers this plant will produce! This plant will also tolerate cold weather which is perfect for the gardener who wants to start growing fruits and vegetables early in the year. The bell pepper looks like an apple with its shape and red color, but in a shrunk version! Ripening from green to red, these are great peppers to grow in the comfort of your indoor or outdoor garden, patio, and greenhouse.
The Baby Red is a tasty, crunchy miniature bell pepper that’ll make you believe that you’re eating a baby-sized apple. These are great to eat as snacks, stuffed peppers, or to use on salads and sandwiches. Red isn’t your color? Check out our Baby Yellow Peppers!

While I haven't actually grown them yet, these seem to be quality seeds like all the rest of Joes. Fresh and sealed tight. I expect they should all germinate fine next season. Shipped fast as always!
I purchased 2 varieties, the Baby Red Pepper and the Candy Cane. Planted 6 seeds of each variety. The Candy Cane popped up in about 7 days and are strong, healthy, robust plants. After day 16 of the first round, none of the 6 Baby Red pepper seeds had germinated. Planted a second round of 6 seeds (only received 12 seeds total) and got 4 seedlings, 2 of which are strong but growing very slowly. The other 2 aren't going to be big enough for transplant in 3 weeks. Might try to pot them once they get a little stronger. Germination was painfully slow, didn't get the seedlings until day 18 even with a heat mat!
