Description:

The Bubblegum 7 Pot X SRTSL Orange Pepper is a unique cross between the 7 Pot Bubble-gum pepper and the SRTSL pepper. The SRTSL pepper is an elongated version of the Trinidad Scorpion pepper.

The BBG7 X SRTSL Orange Peppers are very productive and grow just over 3 feet tall making it the perfect addition to your garden. Once mature, they will have a bumpy texture and a stunning orange color.

This very rare hybrid was created by Paul Willett from the United Kingdom. It is an intense super hot variety with Scoville Heat Units that range from 1,000,000 - 1,500,000. The BBG7 X SRTSL Orange Pepper shares the fruity and sweet flavors of the 7-Pot Bubblegum pepper, with an intense heat that comes on fast. Careful handling these super hot peppers, and use them sparingly for cooking, adding to salsas, infusing into hot sauce, or drying them into chili powder.

Please Note: This new variety is still unstable. Your grow results could vary in terms of shape, size, and color.

  • What You'll Need

    Soil and Tray Method

    Seed Starting Supplies
  • Plant your Seeds

    1. Pre-saturate your seed starting soil mix. Ensure the seed starting mix is fully saturated prior to planting your seed.
    2. Make a ¼-inch hole in the center of each seed starting cell. A #2 pencil eraser is a great tool for making these holes.
    3. Place your seed and cover gently with soil.
You can plant up to 4 seeds per cell to help ensure successful germination.
  • 4. Place your heat mat under  your base tray and your humidity dome on top. For best results, set your temperature controller between 75 - 80 degrees.

    5. Place your plant light above the seed starting tray and turn on. Refer to the plant light manufacturers instructions for the optimal distance. Plant light should remain on for 14 to 16 hours per day.

    6. Enjoy watching them grow! See our full instruction page below for more information.
