Directions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Take 2 roasting pans or an oven-safe dish and add a stick of butter to it. While oven is preheating, place dish in the oven until butter is melted.
While the oven is preheating and butter is melting, mix Chex, Cheez-its, pretzels, rye chips, and nuts in a large bowl or on a large baking sheet. Loosely mix with your hands. Set aside.
Pour melted butter into a medium bowl. Add Reaper Powder, Reaper Flakes, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well to create the sauce.
Drizzle the sauce evenly onto the mix. Mix carefully with your hands (it's a good idea to use gloves whenever working with our Reaper products - we learned the hard way). Spread the mixture evenly into a single layer (use two smaller pans if you don't have a pan large enough).
Once the sauce is evenly coated on the mix, place baking sheet(s) in the oven (middle rack), and bake for one hour, removing the pan every 15 minutes to stir. (Pro tip: Use a vent fan to reduce the Reaper fumes!)
After baking, spread the cooked mix on parchment paper to cool. Once cool, store in an airtight container. This Reaper seasoning lingers long after you're done snacking, so make sure to wash those hands when you're finished. Enjoy!
