Simply Green Taco Sauce

This green taco sauce will make an excellent sauce for your tacos or for other dishes. We've heard it may be similar to Tabasco's green pepper sauce, but let us know in the comments if you agree or not!  This is an original recipe from a Panhead. Enjoy!



Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cider Vinegar

  • 1 Cup Water

  • 1 medium Onion

  • 3 Jalapeno peppers

  • 2 TBSP Salt

  • 1 TBSP Garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Corn Starch (Optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all in blender and blend ‘til onion and peppers are finely chopped. 

  2. Pour into sauce pan and bring to a full boil.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer about 1/2 hour or ‘til slightly thickened.

  4. Makes about 2 cups.
