Love wings? Feeling adventurous and seeking another spicy chicken wings recipe? These finger-licking wings has the perfect balance of sweetness and heat, and are great to use for parties, gamedays, and more! With molasses, honey, and apricot jam to give the sweetness and a Habanero and Chocolate Douglah to give that kick, these were hard not to eat the entire plate (believe us, we tried to control ourselves). Thank you Stacy for sharing your recipe to us, we couldn't get enough of it and just had to make more!
These are great for NFL Sunday with a cold beer and some blue cheese dip! - Stacy
500 ml soy sauce
100 ml molasses
100 ml honey
Juice of 2 limes
50 ml Frank's Red Hot
1 tbsp wasabi
1 tbsp hot mustard
4 to 6 huge cloves chopped garlic
1 tbsp apricot jam
1 Habanero and 1 Chocolate Douglah (but you can use any super-hot pepper)
Buy some chicken wings and split them yourself
Add in a freezer bag all of the ingredients
Squish everything together, then add your wings and let it sit in fridge for 3 hrs to overnight
When ready, put them in the oven and bake at 375 for about an hour. Turn them a few times while they cook
Then go get a cold beer, some blue cheese dip, and enjoy!
