Description:
Red Fresno peppers are a big crowd-pleaser, easy to grow, and they're great to eat. Developed and commercialized by Clarence Brown Hamlin in 1952, he named the pepper after the city of Fresno, California.
These compact pepper plants reach around 2 ft. tall and produce bounties of these small, conical-shaped peppers. Watch as these 2"-long peppers ripen from green to bright red at maturity with a nice, smooth texture that makes them all the more appetizing.
These tasty pods are such a treat with their impressive sweet flavors with a mild, Jalapeno-like heat that won’t overpower. A great pepper for pickling or cooking. The Fresno chili pepper is a very versatile pepper making it a must-have for your garden.
