Last year was great. The gift ghorp's were so awsome were getting three packs... and purple ghorp's, two aji cultivars, and a hedge of ornamentals to surround the front yard garden. Thanks Joe
My husband and I ordered our Scorpion seeds and aji Amarillo seeds last spring and we also got a free pack of these little suckers. WOW!! These are now our new favorite. We will be planting a lot more of these this summer. Thanks for the free seeds and a new favorite. We will be sure and order plenty of them this year.
I received these as a free gift and had room so gave them a go. All I can say is WOW!! I planted 2 seeds n they both made it. The plants are 30” tall and just as wide. They are heavy with fruit to the point I’ve had to steak individual stems to keep the fruit off the ground. I’ve been making some fermented hot sauces with them and the heat and flavor do not disappoint. I will definitely be putting these in the garden again next spring! Thanks Pepper Joe’s!!
Got these seeds for free with another order. Grew 3 plants, about 30 peppers per plant. Bubble gum flavor upfront, then the heat gets you. Very hot, very good. I will most likely make a salt out of them and use on vegetables.
I, too, received some free seeds with an order for Guam Boonies. I'll definitely order more for next season. Mine grew in a large pot, to a plant height of 25-27 inches. I have harvested about 20 of the deep red mature peppers, with more on the plant. I have smoked most of the fruit over hickory wood, until pulpy. I do not strip them of the seed or ribs. I'm using them to make (a) hot ground pepper flakes (dehydrator & coffee grinder work wonders, as does the pepper on airplane and hotel food; (b) a puree for soups and whatever Ghors, garlic kosher salt & olive oil blended); and (c) hot sauce (Ghors, flesh of red sweet peppers, garlic, kosher salt, white vinegar), which goes on anything where children might use, say, Tabasco.
The Guam Boonies do taste and flavor as described on the site; great pepper, too.
