Do you love pickling and preserving flavorful hot peppers? The Red Cherry Hot pepper is the one for you! Also known as the Cherry Bomb pepper, the well-known Hot Cherry Pepper is named for its cherry-like shape but it’s the flavor that people keep coming back for.
The compact pepper plants grow to 2.5 ft. tall and boast high yields of these 1-2" long, thick-walled pods. The sweet Cherry Hot peppers will ripen from green to red, and we recommend harvesting them when they turn red for their irreplaceable flavors. If you frequently harvest, this will help improve the plant’s yield and you’ll get an abundance of peppers.
With medium heat and a sweet taste, the Red Cherry Pepper is great to add to a variety of culinary uses. The Red Spicy Cherry pepper is very fleshy and juicy and is great for putting in vinegar and stuffing. It is indispensable in meals where you need a hot pepper with substance, and it is a perfect garnish for many dishes. There is a reason the Cherry is so popular!

When told that they had 100% germination rate, I had a hard time believing that. They really do. They are growing slow, but I think that is my fault... I am growing them indoors with an artificial light. I may be messing them up as I go.
Wish I could share a pic of my cherry hot pepper plant, still going strong the first week of November here in Maryland! The peppers are as advertised - thick walled beauties. I have used them in cooking and mixed with some hotter ones (looking at you, Thai chili) to make hot sauce. I had no issue with germination; used a heat mat and grow light.
I am just about to plant the seedlings in my garden.
