Originally from Jamaica, you will taste citrus, lemony lime, and fruity tones in this Jamaican Mushroom Yellow pepper! Not only does it have fruity flavors, but it has the heat level of a Scotch Bonnet. The difference is that the Jamaican Yellow Mushroom will grow bigger than the Scotch Bonnet. It grows well in the sun and ripens from green to yellow when mature. The bright yellow mushroom will smell similar to a bell pepper, but it is mixed with spice and is perfect for salsas, hot sauces, and more! The pepper grows to two inches long and over one inch wide and resembles as the shape of the mushroom when grown.

I bought the yellow ghost peppers. What grew, 3 out of 3 germinated seeds (7 left over). Plants grew nice and healthy once fruiting I didn’t think they looked like ghost peppers. Bummed out a little I
Made an educated guess at the look and taste of the pepper they are Jamaican yellow mushrooms. So as for these peppers.
Ate the first pepper raw and was blown away by how delicious these peppers
Are and hotter then habaneros. Very pleased with the mix up but no face melting heat. I have others that seem to be the correct pepper just a fluke I think still 5 stars
Seeds all germinated and this grew into a huge high producing plant. Peppers varied in heat, some were hot, some only hot as a bell pepper, but the flavor is great to mix with other peppers for hot sauce
This pepper was so prolific and had great flavor. I lost count of how many we harvested. A couple large mixing bowls from one plant maybe. And there was a time where I forgot to harvest and they didn't rot on the plant. It was sort of perfect. Fruit is beautiful as well. Made a fermented hot sauce and that is now our favorite. Does well in a poly tunnel.
I started way too early expecting 3 weeks, minimum, before seeing anything. Five days in, I had sprouts. I'll try to update in 6 months to let you know if they're actually Yellow Mushrooms. I've received wrong seeds before but didn't make a stink because I still got a hot pepper I hadn't tried yet.
Can’t wait to start next season
