Description:

Also known as the Mexibelle, the Mexibell Improved F1 is a unique hybrid that combines the characteristics of paprika and chili pepper to produce a pepper with a kick! As it hints in the name, this is an improved version of the Mexibell pepper in terms of productivity.

The Mexibell Improved pepper plant is an upright, vigorous plant that is resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV). The plant produces heavy yields of plump, small, 3-4 lobed peppers with thick flesh and interesting paprika and Jalapeño flavors. Ripening from green to red, this is a great productive pepper plant to grow in the garden or greenhouse.

The Mexibell Improved pepper has a pungent, mild chili flavor, but you can control the pungent flavor with some cooking! With a heat level that ranges between 100-2,500, it has a bit of kick but not too much heat, just enough for some spice. This is great for roasting, frying, and baking, and to make stuffed peppers, salsas, sauces, and soups!

Great Stuffed!

Had grown the original Mexibell ages ago - and if you’re used to Stuffed Peppers that are Italian-flavored… be ready for some with Tex-Mex flare!
