Description:

Also known as the B Pepper or the Pepper B hot pepper, these wicked pods are said to be the next hottest pepper on the planet, but we’ll let you put it to the test. We are unsure of the heat level, but we think it could very well be up there with other world-record holders like the Bhut Jolokia, Trinidad Moruga, or the Carolina Reaper!

We are certain that the Pepper B is a nasty-looking fruit that no one should mess with. These pods have gnarly, bumpy skin and shape similar to the Moruga. Growing on sturdy pepper plants, these pods will change colors from green to a mustard/ light green color at maturity, which is different from the typical red variety.

Rumor has it this pepper reaches heat levels higher than 2,000,000 SHUs! That's HOT! We don't encourage you to try eating the whole pepper pod raw, as this could give you a serious burning sensation! Give these wrinkled, scrawny peppers a try and let us know if all the rumors are true about the nasy Pepper "B" Mustard pepper!

Are you only looking for peppers with world-class heat? Then check out our World's Hottest Pepper Seed Collection and browse through our other Super Hot Pepper Seeds for more!

I put some of your seeds in soil 5 days ago indoors. I’ll be able to tell you more in about a week. Very anxious.

Getting Started

So, you've received your seeds and are wondering what's next? At Pepper Joe's, we're committed to equipping you with everything you need to succeed in germinating the pepper seeds you've chosen. Our mission is to introduce you to a diverse array of pepper varieties, setting the stage for an exciting and rewarding gardening experience. Let's dive into the essentials together.

  • What You'll Need

    Soil and Tray Method

    Seed Starting Supplies
  • Plant your Seeds

    1. Pre-saturate your seed starting soil mix. Ensure the seed starting mix is fully saturated prior to planting your seed.
    2. Make a ¼-inch hole in the center of each seed starting cell. A #2 pencil eraser is a great tool for making these holes.
    3. Place your seed and cover gently with soil.
You can plant up to 4 seeds per cell to help ensure successful germination.
  • 4. Place your heat mat under  your base tray and your humidity dome on top. For best results, set your temperature controller between 75 - 80 degrees.

    5. Place your plant light above the seed starting tray and turn on. Refer to the plant light manufacturers instructions for the optimal distance. Plant light should remain on for 14 to 16 hours per day.

    6. Enjoy watching them grow! See our full instruction page below for more information.
