The Serrano pepper is similar in color and fresh flavor, but smaller and meatier. They will ripen from green to red, but they are commonly red, brown, orange, or yellow. You’re likely to harvest them in their green color. The Serrano chili pepper is a great tasting pepper that will grow up to 4” long with medium-thin walls that are perfect for stuffing! The Serrano pepper plant will grow to around 30 inches long and are productive to grow.
