The Gold Habanero hot pepper, or Gold Hab, is a rare combination of great taste and substantial heat. These beautiful plants may look like harmless Habaneros, but the heat is what shocks you as you bite into these pods. A true one-of-a-kind that you don't want to miss out on!

Golden Habanero peppers grow on 3-4 ft. tall plants and are the most beautiful pepper in the garden. The golden 2" pepper turns into a deep, sun-colored gold color, a color you've never seen before. It will ripen from green, and yellow, to a deep orange-gold when mature.

While these aren't necessarily super hot peppers, the heat is ranked '10' on our Pepper Joe's Heat Scale! You'll taste fruity, floral, and even citrusy flavors, but don't forget these pods will leave a long-lasting burn on your tongue! Try using these peppers in your next salsa or hot sauce! The Golden Habanero is a special, scorching-hot variety you've got to try growing this season!

Growing well

This was my first time ordering from PepperJoe’s as well as first time growing something from seeds. Due to limited living space I only attempted to germinate 6 of the seeds. But I can happily report that all 6 have made it to the seedling stage with 5+ leaves. Can’t wait for them to continue growing and eventually bearing fruit.
