Although the peppers off these Moruga Trinidad Scorpion Plants aren't the #1 hottest in the world anymore, they're always a blast to grow and experiment with. WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

Seedlings arrive looking great! Super healthy and ready for transplant. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the pepper itself as I had deer problem eating all the leaves. Gotta hate those rats of the woods.
Healthy plant arrived quickly. Slightly small but grew fast and strong with fertilizer. Many, many flowers and pods!
Despite ninety plus degrees the plants showed up in good condition. They have good vigor and I am looking forward to seeing the quality of harvest.
In the past I have ordered from another supplier, but I drug my feet for some reason this spring. Pepper Joe's was one of very few places I could find super hots in early May. I transplanted to 3 inch pots on arrival and transplanted to the garden Memorial Day weekend..
Hopefully they will make maturity before the first frost around October 1st. I am in South Dakota so I do not have a super long growing season. I will more than likely dig them up and move inside for the winter.
The plants arrived in a timely manner, and were in great condition. Well packaged for shipping. I always order from them.
