Description:
The famous Red Savina Habanero Pepper is rich in history! Straight to you from Walnut, California is another of Frank Garcia Jr.'s masterpiece pepper developments! You won't find the Red Savina Habanero pepper seeds just anywhere, only reputable companies that have a contractual agreement with Frank carry them.
These pepper plants grow up to 3 ft. tall and produce plenty of these shiny 2" pods that ripen from green to bright red at maturity. It has a similar shape to the Habanero pepper, but has more visible lobes and a crisp texture.
If you didn't know, the Red Savina held the World's Hottest Pepper record for 12 years (1994 to 2006). That's amazing! It is the hottest and probably the most flavorful of the Habaneros with a hint of fruity smokiness that distinguishes it from the rest of the pack. The Red Savina Habanero Chili is the preferred chile for commercial mash not only for its great flavor but for its consistent heat and reliable growing results. Great Job Frank!

All the seeds germinated and are growing and looking good.
Excellent germination rate. I planted 36 seeds and finished with 34 plants. The other two seeds germinated, but plants were to weak. Starts grew strong and healthy. After hardening and transplanting they are well underway. Looking forward to see how yeilds go. 5/30/23 Helena, MT.
