Description:

Don’t be fooled by this imposter! Despite a nearly identical appearance, this is not your trusty, old friend the Habanero. Actually, now that we’re thinking about it - this Sweet Imposter Pepper may actually treat you a little better. The Sweet Imposter Pepper looks exactly like a big Habanero Pepper, ripening to a muted orange color with a glossy, wrinkled exterior. But once you take a bite – there is no mistaking it. The Sweet Imposter Pepper has essentially no heat – just tons juicy, citrusy flavor. You’ll enjoy these peppers in soups, salsas, and sauces, or just as a fresh snack.

Good Germination Rate

While I haven't had the actual peppers yet, the plants themselves germinated at a high rate and have survived 75% (3/4) that I planted outside -- granted I just threw them in the ground with no gradual introduction to the sun.

Just stating the seeds

I just started the seeds and they have all come up so far.
I have had success with all Pepper Joes seeds, very happy with last years crop and now I will only buy pepper seeds from Pepper Joes…
