When the Bolivian Rainbow plant has fruit at different stages of growth, you'll have an eye-catching multi-colored pepper plant that's sure to stand out. The heat of Bolivian Rainbow peppers is similar to Tabasco and Cayenne peppers at around 10,000 to 30,000 SHU.

WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

Thriving & Pretty!

Ordered late season, so the plants already had some peppers & blooms...nipped all that & topped them. Now they are full & bushy, about 10" tall. Blooming & producing peppers again...Rainbow colors are so pretty!

Great service great plants

I am very appreciative of the 2 pack pepper plants. One arrived blooming with small peppers already growing and one a small wimp of a thing... Well the wimp is now thriving and the one I thought would be easy not so much. Giving me a 50 /50 shot at a thriving plant next year is all I ask for, especially this being my first time attempting to grow them. Hopefully next summer I will have a beautiful Bolivian pepper plant to show off.
