This is some good stuff. The jersey was good. Hot to boot. The salsas were hot but delicious. I had 3 salsas to choose from. And all were very delicious but the reaper, Got me sweating. I will buy more. And look forward to trying other stuff.

Worth a Try

My favorite salsa has always been Tostitos' Chunky Habanero Salsa Hot, because of its amazing taste with a good amount of heat to it. I was in the market for a hotter salsa, which brought me to Pepper Joe's Variety of hot salsa.

The taste of the 3 hot salsa's from Pepper Joe's were a little bit hotter than Tostitos' Habanero Salsa, which was a plus. But the taste was not as pleasant as Tostitos.

I would conclude that Pepper Joes salsa's are better than Tostitos' salsa for being used as a hot topping to a food, while Tostito's salsa is better for being used for frequent dipping.

Great taste, truly hot salsa

These are all great salsas, with real heat. They are expensive for the size compared to most salsas but given the heat you won't use nearly as much at a time.

Is there such a thing as too hot to appreciate the taste?

I've been a champion fire-eater for half a century, and I seldom get defeated by astronomical Scoville ratings, but your Trinidad Scorpion and Ghost Pepper salsas have tested my limits, and they were hand-down victorious! I love the flavor and mild heat level of your Sweet Peach salsa to share with non-fire-eaters, and for my personal enjoyment, I use it as a base and "kick it up a notch" (apologies to Emeril Lagasse) by adding just a couple tbsp of the TS or GP. (Start with just what you think is a too little - you can always add more, but you can't take away too much!) Pepper Joe is by far the best of its genre!!
