This is a very special pepper that we have come to love to use in our dishes or bite the pepper itself. The Cayenne Pepper plant is a resilient plant that produces very long, curved peppers growing to 3-5 inches long, and is simple to grow. You may even see them look identical to Thai peppers. This pepper is a staple as it is very versatile to add some spice to any dish, and you possibly have ground cayenne pepper in your pantry! It’s hot enough to taste very spicy, but not as hot to burn your mouth. They are great to use on pizza, chicken soup, spaghetti, and so many more.

Fun Fact: The Cayenne Pepper has several health benefits, such as boosting your metabolism, reducing hunger, lowering blood pressure, and may reduce cancer risk!

WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

So happy with the plants you sent. They arrived perfect and are thriving in their pots on my patio. I have never been disappointed with the live or the seeds I have purchased from you.

Pepper Plants on the Grow

I followed the directions and two died right away. The others are growing nicely. Looking forward to a good crop. Winter’s coming and they’ll be in the greenhouse to keep me in supply all winter.
