Chocolate Habanero Pepper Plant Info

Seedling Age: 3-4 Months

Unique and versatile, the Chocolate Habanero pepper will soon become one of your preferred chocolate, hot peppers. Also known as the Brown Congo and the Habanero Chocolate, it is both exotic and an exciting Chile to grow.  The pods are slightly larger than the typical habaneros, just 2 inches longer, and they start as emerald-green before ripening to a dark brown color. Just don’t get this pepper mixed up with spicy candy because it packs a MAJOR punch. The flavors consist of earthy, rich, and smoky undertones that complement their typical habanero sweetness. There is so much flavor packed in these little chocolate fruits that you cannot miss out on this!

WARNING: Plants adjust to small, gradual changes in their environment better than sudden shifts, which is what the hardening off process is all about. Just as you get burned when you bare your untanned skin to the sun, leaves of plants started indoors will develop pale, sunburned patches if they are suddenly exposed to too much sun. The story has a happier ending when you introduce seedlings to bright light and sheltered breezes gradually, over a period of one to three weeks. Read more information on how to harden off and transplant pepper plants in 6 steps.

Amazing Customer Service and Healthy Plants

There was a mishap with my order (USPS fault) and I called the customer service team and they shipped me a whole new order! The second order came and is perfectly healthy!

Healthy plants!

As another review mentioned mine were a little on the small side, but they're going through a major growth spurt right now, they've probably doubled in size in about two weeks, so I'm not worried. Beautiful healthy plants, one's growing a little faster than the other but they both arrived in great condition and are shooting up now. Had trouble germinating the seeds of this type I purchased, so I'd recommend waiting for live plants over seeds in the future based on my own experience this year.

Came in when promised, though they were quite small both are thriving in garden but have not bloomed yet
