Description:
Searing heat never tasted so good with the Bhutlah Bubblegum 7 Pot Chocolate pepper. This cross between the Red Bhutlah (Bhut Jolokia x 7 Pot Douglah) and a 7 Pot Bubblegum (Yellow 7 Pot x Moruga Scorpion) is guaranteed to singe your taste buds off!
Pepper plants reach up to 4 ft. tall and produce incredible bounties of these 2" wrinkly pods. The shape is similar to the Bhutlah and the skin and texture is from the Bubblegum. However, the pepper isn't totally stable, so you may end up having different shapes.
The Bhutlah Bubblegum 7 Pot Chocolate has a burning taste far more than the Reaper or Scorpion, although the heat level isn't quite as hot. You will still enjoy the typical sweet and floral flavors of bubblegum peppers. If you are looking for a pepper to make BBQ sauce with, this is the one for you. Dehydrate and turn them into powders for dry rubs and seasonings! These pepper seeds will not disappoint!

Love the seeds and can’t wait to plant them in the spring!!
Germination is far above average for a pepper with this heat. Plants vary in vigor but I have one now 3 years old and getting woody and shrub like in my front yard. The flavor is hotter than most can imagine. To me it is hotter even than Carolina Reaper. Yet still there is flavor. The fruit is very decorative.
Great germination on these seeds, planted 5 and 5 popped up. Taller than most of my other varieties with thick stems and fat leaves. Scary looking pods that have all the bumps and contortions that you could expect. Haven’t tried any yet but I know they will burn like the devil!!!
Sounds like they are going to be HOT! Enjoy :)
These peppers are intense.. my friend and I always taste the peppers to see how they taste fresh off the plant.. the flavor is amazing but that heat hits you instantaneously and proceeds for at least 20 minutes. We were drooling and crying but the pain was worth it..some of the fruit was about the size of a Roma tomato whit deep chocolate color outside and a green inside.. already dehydrated a ton.. gonna make rubs and salts.. this is a must have if you love super hot.. enjoy
Still going strong! Beautiful & plentiful green blossoms Here in SC! Can’t wait to make dry rubs and BBQ sauces!!!!
