Description:
The 7 Pot Infinity is a three-way cross-bred in England by the chili breeder Nick Woods of Fire Woods, Grantham, Lincolnshire. In terms of what peppers the 7 Pot Infinity pepper is crossed with, it is unknown although it may be crossed with the Butch T Scorpion. It held the Guinness World Record for the World’s Hottest Chili Pepper for TWO weeks in 2011 before it was ousted by the Naga Viper pepper. So close!
Also known as the 7 Pot/Pod Infinity, the bushy pepper plant will grow around 3-4 ft. tall and 5 ft. wide in a large pot but will grow much bigger if planted in the ground. While it is identical in appearance to the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, there is a difference in taste. The Infinity 7 Pot pepper plant will grow golf ball-sized pods and will mature from green to deep red.
It is straight-up fiery hot with a fruity/floral aroma and has tastes of sharp, slightly floral, and berry-like flavors with tangy yet bitter tones. It is perfect for making pepper powders, curry powder, and hot sauces!
