A Pepper Joe's exclusive! As with most chocolates, this pepper starts off a bit sweeter with a floral scent. The Rusalka variety has come about over several generations of selection by the grower who chose a particular pod phenotype at each successive grow-out. The actual lineage of Rusalka is unknown by the grower; however, the grower suspects that some of Rusalka’s genetic make-up had contributions along the way from the 7-Pot Douglah variety. Rusalka variety is at F5 (for current seeds), so expect little variability. Scoville Heat Units(SHU) average 1,174,000.
Don't underestimate this chocolate variety!
