These pepper plants grow 3 ft. tall and produce these fiery pods that grow up to 3" in size. The shape looks similar to the Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, but a little flatter and not quite as round. Nevertheless, you can see some of the pods growing little Scorpion tails! The peppers will ripen from green to yellow, and potentially yellow-orange when they're ready to be harvested.

When you slice the Scotch Brain strain open, you will see high concentrations of capsicum oil inside the walls. This indicates an intense heat that reads over 1,000,000 SHUs, putting it at the lower end of the category for super hot peppers. The Scotch Brain Strain Yellow peppers are a great fit for chicken dishes and chicken-based soups, but can also be used in a variety of ways like drying, grilling, roasting, and more.
